My best friend Lexus was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer in September of 2003. At the age of 6-1/2, Lexus was full of energy and you could never tell that anything was ever wrong with her up until her last couple days.

Undergoing chemo Lexus stayed in remission for four months but her lymphnodes began to swell and the vet said her body was becoming resistant to the chemo; but wasn't worried because there was other drugs to try. The new drug worked and her lymphnodes went down and Lexus seemed normal.

I was away for a week and my brother was taking care of her.  While I was gone though, Lexus stopped eating and got very sick and the day before I returned Lexus slipped into a coma and passed away on Friday March 12, 2004.

I am devastated and feel like I have lost my best friend and my house seems very empty without her. When I am ready to get another pet I will not hesitate to get another Rottweiler because they are the best pet a person could have.
